U-Pick is now open for strawberries! U-Pick Price will be $1.00/lb. Hours are 8:00am-7:00pm Monday-Sunday. You are welcome to bring your own containers or we will supply one for you. Children are allowed in the field, but only with adult supervision. We do grow our strawberries on plastic to get an earlier crop, reduce disease, and control weeds so we ask that you do your best to walk in between the rows as to not damage the plastic as it is tears very easily.
We offer several different varieties including: Honeoye, Wendy, Jewel, Darselect, Cabot, Eros, and L’Amour. All have excellent flavor! Since we do grow on plastic, it is not unusual for us to have an earlier crop than others depending on how warm our spring is. It is not unusual for us to have strawberries as early as late May. We will keep the home page updated to inform you of when we will start picking!
MICHIGAN CONCORD GRAPES: We also have picked or u-pick concord grapes. We have many faithful customers that come out each year to pick their concord grapes to make their jelly, juice, and wine. Concord grapes are known to have many health benefits because of their deep purple color which is rich in polyphenols and antioxidants. We sell by the half bushel or bushel. Feel free to bring your own bushel basket or we can supply one for you. If you would like to order a large quantity, please call and place your order in advance at (269)684-5865.
Depending on the warmth of the growing season, we normally start picking our Concord grapes in mid September. Keep an eye on the home page as we will post when they are ready to be picked. Call for hours.
